In the early nineties wine by the glass was a pretty neglected area of drinks service. Wine preservation was relatively unheard of and perhaps understandably operators had largely discarded wine by the glass initiatives for fear of incurring expensive wastage and/or serving the odd glass of wine ‘past it’s best’!. From the outset, our primary challenge therefore was not to launch a product, but rather to introduce the quantifiable, commercial benefits associated with the concept of a premium wine by the glass service. By pretty much any measure, we succeeded in our task and Le Verre de Vin rapidly became the system of choice for operators seeking to overcome wastage concerns, guarantee the quality of each and every glass of wine on offer and secure significant profits from an extended wine by the glass service.
After fantastic and rapid success in the UK, we set about opening up International markets and by 1995 had successfully established distribution in mainland Europe and the USA (via Bermar America). We now boast a rapidly increasing global distribution network, involving over 60 companies covering some 84 countries.

Over the years we have listened to operators and developed a wide range of products to satisfy their needs. These have ranged from discrete stand-alone systems to modular, cabinet solutions – the only thing we never compromised on was the inclusion of our unique preservation technology. They told us to make the technology available ‘cheaper’ – to compromise on the quality of components, to manufacture in ‘low cost’ countries, to save, save, save. We never did - and we never will.
